CONGRATS IKE ASL STUDENTS!
On March 28th, Ike ASL students traveled to Federal Way for a Washington State ASL Competition. Below are the results:
We had four 1st yr competitors in individual performances: Samantha Anderson, Stephanie Nickles, Rachel Katz and Jessica Walters
We had four 2nd yr competitors in individual performances: Kennon Otey, Laura Ruiz, Kendall Skidmore and Harmony Wallert
We had two 3rd yr competitors in individual performances: Shelby Vanderpol and Jean Luc Jackson
We had one group performance by: Nate Wells, Nick Copeland, Kennon Otey and Matt Shurtz.
All students were awarded either 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place medals. 13 performers all together and 14 medals.
Also, our group skit won 1st place and Rachel Katz won 1st place for her performance.
