The School Counselor/Student Relationship
You can only make the best decisions if you have enough information and understanding about how school counseling works. Some interventions will work best if parents are directly involved, others will provide optimal results, if the privacy of the student is maintained. Selection of the best approach will be made by the school counselor, based upon professional experience and research. If you have a particular approach that has worked well with you in the past, or would like an explanation of the approach we have chosen, please tell or ask us at any point.

Confidentiality
In general, we will tell no one what you tell us. The privacy of the information you share with us belongs to you. You can share any information with others. We cannot divulge the infromation you share with us without your permission or unless required to by law.
