Monday, May 31st
is a no school day in observance of Memorial Day. Parents, we need your help again this year for Field Day on Thursday, June 10th. This year we will have two groups, the upper grades 3, 4, and 5 in the AM and the lower grades K, 1, and 2 in the PM. PTA is providing two jumpers and refreshments for students and helpers. The school district requires all parents to fill out a form in the office before being able to help, so please stop in and sign up SOON!! The final school assembly on Friday, June 11th will honor our 5th graders, any service club workers, and students earning AR medals. The assembly begins at 9 AM, and with space being limited, plan to come early for a good place. Mark the date on your calendar, Thursday, August 26th for a Back to School Open House and picnic. Meet your students' teachers, visit their classrooms, and find out about the Hoover PTA before the school year begins this fall on Monday, August 30th. See YOU there! |
