Monday, September 13th before school 21st Century classes begin, and Tuesday, September 14th after school classes begin. ALL students should fill out a form to be a part of 21st Century Programs this year.  If places are full for before and after school classes, names will be put on a waiting list if a place opens anytime during the year.  21st Century provides for an extended learning day doing hands-on active learning that helps all students be successful. School Picture Day will be on Friday, September 17th.  Picture money needs to be brought to school before pictures will be taken.  Put on your best clothes and smile!! Thursday, September 23rd at 6 PM the Hoover PTA will have their first general meeting of the year.  Pay dues and join by that night to have your name in the door prize drawing!  Even if you can't be an official member, PTA always needs volunteers to help with all the activities we have planned for the year.  Check out the Hoover PTA page with the button at the left to see what's coming up you can help out with.

Word of the Month:  RESPECT                                                                                                                                              Respect is an attitude of honoring oneself and others and caring about their rights.  Being respectful is reflected in the courtesy with which we speak, act and treat one another.        Respeto – Es una actitud para honrarse a uno mismo y a los demás y de preocuparse por los derechos de los demás. El ser respetuoso se refleja en la cortesía con la que hablamos, actuamos y nos tratamos los unos a los otros.
