Jennifer Hento

Hello! I am very excited to be a part of the Washington Middle School staff this year. Before I was lucky enough to meet my husband in drum and bugle corps, I spent my time in Salem, Oregon. I went to school at Western Oregon University and then received my teaching certificate at Central Washington University. I have spent the last few years teaching science to 7th, 8th and 9th grade students in Redmond, Washington. I spend my free time playing computer games with my husband, reading, painting and spending time with my pets- 2 rabbits and 2 cats. I am very excited to start hiking and camping around this area, the geology is just fascinating!

Barbara Clark

Hello, It is nice to be teaching at Washington again. I enjoy working with Middle School students and have done so for the past 14 years. My undergraduate coursework was completed at Eastern Michigan University with a major in Physical Education and a minor in Family and Consumer Science. Recently I attended City University to receive my Master’s degree in Educational Technology. I have 3 wonderful daughters. Outside of school I enjoy quilting, photography, hiking, remodeling projects, and traveling. I often enter my photos and quilts at the Central Washington State Fair.

Greg Hall

My name is Greg Hall, and I love teaching 6th graders.  Last year I taught 9th grade at Selah Junior High.  I have a wonderful wife (Trish), and five awesome kids.  We live in Ellensburg, and have 1 dog, 3 cats, 1 horse, and 14 chickens.  I enjoy Karate, football, and lifting weights.  I am a hard core Seahawks fan, and my favorite colors are Blue and Green.  Go Hawks! I enjoy working at Washington Middle School.  The kids here are the best!  I am looking forward to a wonderful year of having us all learn a whole bunch of Math and Science.

Yoshi Garcia

I have a major in Education and a strong background in Mathematics and Science.  I speak some Spanish and enjoy learning about new cultures and countries.  I enjoy staying updated on technology, science, and understanding other points of views. I was born in the Yakima Valley and through scholarships and academics, I had enough to cover the cost of the full five years of college.  I would like the opportunities to give students the same chance I had at a future they enjoy. I like to see my classroom as an open door for the family to become part of their own child's future.
