Interpreter/Translation Services for Parents
Your child’s education is very important. As the parent/guardian of a Yakima School District student, you have the right to participate in your child’s education, including communicating with teachers and staff about your child. The Yakima School District offers interpreter and translation services to parents free of charge. We encourage you to tell someone at your child’s school if you need an interpreter or a translator. Please contact your school office or Consuelo Orozco at (509) 573-7130 if you have any questions or concerns about Yakima School District’s language services.
Servicios de interpretación/traducción para padres
La educación de sus hijos es muy importante. Como padre/tutor legal de un estudiante en el Distrito Escolar de Yakima, usted tiene el derecho de participar en la educación de sus hijos, incluyendo comunicarse con los maestros y personal de las escuelas. El Distrito Escolar de Yakima ofrece a los padres servicios gratuitos de interpretación y de traducción. Si usted necesita estos servicios, por favor pregunte a alguien en la escuela de su hijo.
