  • Hat, Gloves, Scarf Drive!

We are thankful for those in need that the temperatures have not been as low as they were last winter (so far), but there are still plenty of cold students in the Yakima School District. Would you like to help? Our HAT, GLOVE and SCARF drive starts today! http://bit.ly/2DoeB4g

  • Lee Paggett 15th Annual Food Drive

    null

Lee Paggett was a beloved employee of the Yakima School District who worked tirelessly for Yakima; fundraising for various causes and helping the youth. For the past fourteen years we have been collecting canned goods at every school in the Yakima School District for Northwest Harvest in his honor. Help us make this collection effort just as successful!

The food drive will officially begin Tuesday, January 2nd and end on Friday, January 12th. Drop off your donation to any Yakima School District school: View a list of our schools.

    Thank you!

  • Equity in Education

The Yakima School District recognizes and respects the uniqueness of each student, staff member and citizen within the community. Teaming together, the school community creates a learning environment that fosters fair treatment and access to educational resources and programs for all students. The American democratic system depends on equal access to the opportunities for and benefits of public education for all young people: our future leaders, voters, taxpayers, workers, parents and adult citizens (Click the Equity in Education title above for our full policy).
