Perry Technical Institute Scholarships
Perry Technical Institute encourages you to apply for scholarships before you start school and throughout your time at Perry. If you receive scholarship funding, you will have the opportunity to reduce or cancel loans that you took out to pay for school.
Washington State Fair Foundation Blue Ribbon Scholarships

The Washington State Fair Foundation is pleased to present over $100,000 in scholarship opportunities to students residing in Washington State this year. Various scholarships available with differing award amounts.
AWC Quality Communities Scholarship
Deadline: February 15, 2019
The City of Yakima is now accepting applications for the 2019 Association of Washington Cities ("AWC") Center for Quality Communities Scholarship. Six high school seniors from the State of Washington will receive $1,000 scholarships.
Ms Cinco de Mayo Competition Scholarship
Deadline: Febray 15, 2019
The Ms Cinco de Mayo competition provides academic scholarships to three young ladies for post-secondary education to achieve their career goals. The contest empowers them to discover their cultural heritage, leadership and social skills and partake in community projects during and after the competition. Awards: 1st Place $2,000, 2nd Place $1,500, 3rd Place $1,000.
Washington State Opportunity Scholarship
Deadline: February 28, 2019
This scholarship supports low- and middle-income students pursuing eligible, high-demand majors in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and health care. Scholars will receive up to $22,500 in scholarship funding and a continuum of support services. In order to apply students must have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 GPA and not exceed the income guideline.
A-1 Auto Transport Scholarship

To apply for this scholarship, applicants must write an essay/article (of at least 1000 words) about a topic related to the shipping/transport industry. Three awards worth $1,000, $500, and $250 will be awarded.
Humpherys Memorial Scholarship

The $2,500 Humpherys Memorial Scholarship is awarded yearly to a graduating senior based on volunteer activities. Eligible applicants are enrolled in their senior year as a Yakima Public Schools high school student.

The Recovery Village is offering a $1,000 scholarship to students pursuing a medical-related course of study. Simply submit a short essay (no more than 500 words) describing why you are passionate about substance use disorder and mental health treatment. Essays can be in the form of a personal narrative with a medical perspective or focus specifically on clinical experience.
