  • Watch Dec 3rd! Wilson student Gian Paul Featured on Nickelodeon!
    Gian Paul is a hip hop/freestyle dancer who has been dancing competitively for 4 years. He trains in hip hop and contemporary dance at Footlites/Dance Explosion in Selah, WA. GP has been dancing since he was 6 years old and has won many national titles and scholarship awards at regional and national dance competitions and freestyle dance battles, including World of Dance, Monsters of Hip Hop, and Buildabeast. He appeared on So You Think You Can Dance and started training in Los Angeles last year. He is currently training with Kreativ Mindz Elite dance intensive in Seattle and was recently accepted into the workstudy program with the ImmaBeast company in LA under the direction of Will “Willdabeast” Adams and Janelle Ginestra. Last year he began to design his own choreography and has already won awards on pieces he created. GP dreams of becoming a professional dancer/choreographer and hopes to travel the world to share his love of dance with others.
     
    Lip Sync Battle Shorties: Watch for Gian Paul on Nickelodeon’s “Lip Sync Battle Shorties” December 3rd at 8:00 p.m.! He will be performing a piece he helped choreograph and stage; we can’t wait to see his vision come to life on the show! He will be appearing on the holiday episode with hosts Nick Canon and Jojo Siwa. Good luck at the LSBS battle Gian Paul!

  • Parent/Guardian Survey

    Input from our families is critical to improving our schools. That's why we are asking you to complete this (anonymous) survey about your experiences in your child's school. Simply click on the link below to begin. The entire survey should only take you a few minutes. If you have children at more than one school in our district, we ask that you complete a survey for each child’s school. The survey will be available from Tuesday, October 31st through Thursday, November 30th. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this very important feedback.

    La opinión de nuestras familias es crítica para mejorar nuestras escuelas. Es por eso que les pedimos que completen una encuesta (completamente anónima) sobre sus experiencias en la escuela de su hijo. Para comenzar, haga clic en el enlace de abajo.   • Student Survey

    All Yakima School district students in grades 4 through 12 are asked to participate in a student survey. The survey will be posted and available here from Tuesday, October 31 through Thursday, November 30. Students have been asked to complete the survey electronically using computer labs or classroom computers. No paper copies will be accepted. A total student response report will be compiled at both the building and district levels.
