• Leadership Class

  • Students at Lewis and Clark have the opportunity to enroll in the AVID elective class.  AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a nationwide program that gives students the skills they will need for high school and college and careers.  Students work on skills such as note taking, group tutorials, college and career exploration, public speaking, organization, etc.  Lewis and Clark is a certified AVID school, meaning that the school has effectively implemented and is using the program.  AVID is offered as an elective class in all three grade levels at Lewis and Clark.  Additionally, we have started two more AVID strategies classes to help teach these skills to more students. If you are interested in learning more about the AVID program at Lewis and Clark, please contact: Ruby Armijo (6th), Nicci Henning (6th), Michelle Helseth (7th), Matt Emhoff (8th).
