Input from our families is critical to improving our schools. That's why we are asking you to complete this (anonymous) survey about your experiences in your child’s school. Simply click on the link below to begin. The entire survey should only take you a few minutes. If you have children at more than one school in our district, we ask that you complete a survey for each child's school. The survey will be available from Monday, October 29th through Friday, November 30th. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this very important feedback.
All Yakima School district students in grades 4 through 12 are asked to participate in a student survey. The survey will be posted and available here from Monday, October 29 through Friday, November 30. Students have been asked to complete the survey electronically using computer labs or classroom computers. No paper copies will be accepted. A total student response report will be compiled at both the building and district levels.
The Yakima School District recognizes and respects the uniqueness of each student, staff member and citizen within the community. Teaming together, the school community creates a learning environment that fosters fair treatment and access to educational resources and programs for all students. The American democratic system depends on equal access to the opportunities for and benefits of public education for all young people: our future leaders, voters, taxpayers, workers, parents and adult citizens (Click the Equity in Education title above for our full policy).
