The Yakima School District is proud to report that three schools in our district have increased their percentage of students proficient on the Smarter Balanced Assessment resulting in the exit of their priority or focus school status by The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI)for the 2017-18 school year.
Ridgeview Elementary will exit from focus status and both Robertson and Roosevelt Elementary Schools will exit from priority status.
OSPI informed our Superintendent, Dr. Jack Irion, of the good news this week.
